Carl Alan Ogle was born on February 20th, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio and passed away on November 25th, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 52, after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Gary Ogle and MaryAnn Ogle of Worthington, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, his brother Donald Ogle (Jessica) and their children, Caroline and SSGT Christopher Ogle, and his sister Robin Ogle, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition, he is survived by his dear friend and sometime caregiver Carolina Infante, and his beloved fur babies Mocha, Toby and Chloe, as well as many friends and loved ones he knew along his way. He grew up in Colonial Hills and graduated from Worthington High School, the last class with only one high school. He was a boy scout and avid soccer player, and as he aged became an avid sports aficionado. Carl started his journey in the restaurant business at Donatos Pizza in Worthington, Ohio. He later helped open new restaurants in Springfield, Dayton and finally Indianapolis. After leaving Donatos, he transitioned to full-service restaurants with Bob Evans, Lonestar Steakhouse, Famous Daves, O’Charley’s and finally Weber Grill. In Indianapolis, Carl became an avid Colts Fan, holding season tickets for many years and becoming friends with many people in the seats around him. Carl was also into Women’s basketball well before it became popular. However, his favorite sports memory was seeing his beloved St. Louis Cardinals play in the World Series. He attended Saint John’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis and enjoyed water aerobics and yoga at the local YMCA.
