Jeffry V. Wilson, age 69, passed away on June 5, 2026, while convalescing at Country View of Sunbury. Jeff attended Worthington High School and graduated with the Class of 1975. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he loved playing and following a wide variety of sports. Throughout the years, he built lasting friendships in many places and collected countless memories that brought laughter and joy to those who knew him. Jeff's greatest gift was his love of people. He enjoyed a successful career in sales, working for several companies over the years, and was known for his ability to connect with others and make friends wherever he went. In the mid-1980s, Jeff met the love of his life, Debra Kellam, along with her three children. They were married in July 1988 and shared many happy years together, including treasured visits with Debra's children and grandchildren in Florida. Debra preceded him in death in August 2023. Jeff is survived by his sister, Janet Wilson Forward and brother-in-law, Brad Forward, of Powell, Ohio; his sister, Jayme Daniell of Hilliard, Ohio, along with her children and grandchildren; his sister, Jean Marie Wilson and her daughter; and his stepmother, Sylvia R. Wilson of Powell, Ohio, wife of the late James F. Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Wilson, who passed away in May 2015; his mother, Barbara Ruth Johnson Wilson, who passed away in March 1969; and his beloved wife, Debra. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Country View of Sunbury and Bella Care Hospice for their loving and exceptional care of Jeff, and to Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society for their guidance and support during this difficult time.
