Andy Haase, 48, of Worthington Hills, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022 after bravely and relentlessly battling an aggressive form of leukemia. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Jen, and their three beautiful daughters, Jordan, Scarlett and Brookie. He is also survived by his parents, Dr. Joseph and Petie Haase; sister Gretchen (Brian) Koeck; faithful Bernedoodle, Hank; and many extended family members. Andy graduated from Thomas Worthington High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Science degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He practiced general dentistry for three years and taught at The Ohio State College of Dentistry before obtaining his Master of Science degree from the Division of Endodontics. He was an excellent and dedicated teacher and earned The Endodontic Instructor of the Year award. While attending Michigan State University he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity through which he developed many lifelong friendships. Andy loved the outdoors and all sports, especially golf. If he wasn’t at home or the office you could usually locate him on a golf course competing against the best players he could find. Above all, Andy loved his family and sharing his wisdom and insight with everyone who was close to him, especially his daughters. Andy will be greatly missed by his family members and many close friends in Columbus and throughout the country.
