: Virginia (Jinny) Lou Evans White, 88, of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by family. She will be remembered for her kindhearted nature. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Jinny was the daughter of the late Eben and Eleanor Evans. She attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. After graduation, Jinny married James Foster White. One of Jinny's fondest memories was time spent with her husband in Oahu, Hawaii, one of their favorite places during his service in the Air Force. Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Robert Nunn; granddaughter Nicole Downs (husband, James); and great-grandchildren Jonathan and Evelyn Downs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James F. White; her parents, Eleanor and Eben Evans; and her brother, Richard Townsend Evans. Over her lifetime, Jinny enjoyed gardening, sailing, horses and horse racing, and dogs. An English Setter named Freckles was her most beloved pet. She loved classical music as well as jazz. She was an active supporting member of DAR and PEO.
