Karen Ann (Foster) Bresler passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. Born in St. Louis, Karen’s life was rooted in faith, family, and community. She attended Academy of the Sacred Heart, Villa Duchesne, Saint Gertrude High School, and Worthington High School. Throughout her life, she carried with her the friendships and values formed during those years. Karen had a passion for retail fashion and found joy in her work in high-end consignment. She had an exceptional eye for style and loved helping others feel beautiful and confident. Shopping and reading were among her favorite pastimes, simple pleasures she enjoyed with enthusiasm. An excellent cook, Karen expressed her love through food. She delighted in feeding family and friends, ensuring that everyone who entered her home felt cared for and welcome. Her kitchen was a place of laughter, conversation, and comfort. Above all, Karen’s heart belonged to her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and, especially, her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable pride and joy. Her love for them was boundless and will remain a guiding light in their lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rita (Stiegemeier) Foster and Kenneth Foster Sr., and her brothers, Kevin Foster and Kenneth Foster Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Jeff Bresler, son Jeffery Bresler Jr., daughters Amy Marie (Bresler) Sutton, Melissa Ann (Bresler) Fuller, five grandchildren, sisters, Kathleen (Foster) Miller and Kimberly (Foster) David, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare for their kindness and support.
