Scot G. Hindall passed away suddenly on July 10, 2025, with his wife Kathryn (Brown) at his side after living with Alzheimer’s Disease for several years. He was an involved and loving parent, adoring husband, caring son, devoted sibling, inspirational coach/leader, and loyal friend. Born in Madison, WI in 1967, Scot moved to Worthington, OH during middle school and his outgoing nature allowed him to make friends everywhere he went. He began playing baseball and participating in church youth events, including choir, at a young age. Scot attended Ohio University, where he helped to form the local chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and earned a degree in Civil Engineering. His entire career was spent working in water-related engineering for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Scot lived life with generosity, humor, and enthusiasm. He sang tenor with the Worthington Presbyterian Church (WPC) Chancel Choir, coached baseball with Worthington Youth Boosters, served as a Cub Scout leader and later an Assistant Scoutmaster, and helped lead the children’s Cherub Choir at WPC. Scot was an active member of the Water Management Association of Ohio, enjoyed playing baseball, softball, and golf. He found pleasure in hunting with friends, spending summer weeks at the Hindall family cabin in Ontario, and downhill skiing with the Brown family. Scot was preceded in death by his father, Steve Hindall and his nephew, Benjamin Piecenski. He is survived by his wife Kathryn (Brown); son Andrew; mother Sandra L. Hindall; sister Shelly (Dave) Hart; niece Abigail Piecenski; nephews Ethan Brown and Cameron Brown, step-nephew Alex Hart, and extended family members of the Peter Brown and Steve Hindall families.
