Lois (Dianne) Gibson passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, April 13th. Dianne graduated from Worthington High School and was involved in many activities such as Press Club, Girls Athletics Association, Business Club, and Editorial Staff. She also played basketball and worked in the attendance office. After High School Dianne briefly went to Nebraska for training to be a "Flight Hostess" for the airlines. After a few months she decided the job was not for her and was content to stay grounded in Ohio. Her employment consisted of a year working at the Ohio National Bank; Fifteen years with Dr's Muncey and Sharp Podiatry; Ten years at Lairs Hallmark ; Thirty plus years with Mike Cheeseman Builders. Throughout the years, Dianne enjoyed serving on her high school class reunion committee, going to her son's sporting events, then a bit later, her niece's and nephew's activities. She loved shopping, baking, gardening, decorating her home for holidays, watching baseball, soap operas and most importantly being with her family. Whether it be a birthday, baby shower, graduation, holiday celebrations, she always looked for ways to help while always bringing something to share. Dianne expressed that Christmas was her favorite holiday, which is not surprising as she loved giving gifts. She will always be remembered for her delicious rice crispy treats, Chex mix, puffed carmel corn, buckeyes and endless boxes of Cheryl's cookies. Dianne is preceded in death by her grandparents John and Vella Arndt; parents, Louis "Bud" Monska and Mary "Tarita" Monska; In laws Bernard (Blanche) Gibson; daughter, Maria Dianne Gibson; Sister, Marilyn Cheeseman; Brother, Norm Monska; nephew, Michael "Mick" Monska.
