: Shirley "Chrisey" DeCamp, 86, of San Juan Manor, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at her home. S. Chrisey DeCamp was born June 14, 1937, in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Worthington, Ohio High School and attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. After college, Chrisey was in the financial field associated with Park Federal Savings & Loan, Columbus, Ohio and later with Heritage Realtors, Dayton, Ohio. Chrisey and her husband, David retired and moved to Alburquerque, New Mexico in 1997. They later moved to Lakeview's River Bend in 2006. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, and the P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter A, and volunteered at the Cat's Meow, and Riverside Country Club. Survivors are her husband David Allen DeCamp of the home; children: Steven (Dora) DeCamp of Idaho, Laurie (Judi) DeCamp of Florida, Cindy (Paul) Schreiner of Tennesse, and Amy (Linda) DeCamp of Ohio; niece Valerie Ramsey of Ohio, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Chrisey was preceded in death by her parents John L. and Elsie (Kollmeyer) Felder, and brother John H. Felder.
