We would like inform family and friends of the sudden passing of Gregg E. McGrail. He passed in Michigan doing what he loves doing best golfing on July 10, 2023. Gregg was born April 30, 1952 in Columbus, OH to Robert and Carolyn McGrail. With a loving spouse of Karen, celebrating a marriage of 44 years on May 11, 1979 living in Columbus, OH. Member of Kemper Sports Club, part Owner of Oak Hurst Country Club. Gregg loved, golfing, Euchre, Darts, Bonfires, fireworks, OSU Buckeyes and Browns, Indian Baseball. If anyone knew him, he always had a joke to tell. Gregg, served in the Air Force from July of 1971 to July 1974 Survivors: (wife) Karen, (son) John Horsefield spouse to (America), (daughter) Jennifer McGrail to spouse (Justin Alwood), (grandkids) Carlina, Kyrian, Julian, Carey, Kiley, Tyler, Shaun. Brothers: Garth (Sharon, Grant (Deb), Geoffrey (Scotty) (Gretta). Cousins: Carolyn Warren (Bill), Marilyn McGrail, Steve Snyder (Susy) with many nieces and nephews. With our extended Family: Mike McCauslin (Karen), Paula Hardy (Dwain) Johnny Johnson, Jeff Kelly (Maia), Brent Righter (Kyra, Kamie, Bubby). Lifelong friends: Andy Campbell, JB Bartlett, Dan Bevan, Steve Payton, Gib Johnson, Dave Schott, Mike Schwartz, Scott Goff, Dave Turner, Bill Mackensen, all buddies from Oak Hurst. If we have forgotten to list anyone, please know that your well-loved and thought of. Preceded in death- his parents, brothers: Glenn (twin) Garry. In memory of Gregg, we would love to share a last joke: A man asked his wife why did you marry me; She said your very funny, He replied, I thought it was because I was good in bed… Her reply was... you see- Your so Hilarious!
