Pamela Brown Yaeger passed away in the early morning hours of June 3, 2023. As per her wishes, there will not be a traditional service. Because she was loved by so many, we will honor her memory and reminisce in a “Celebration of Life” (date and details to follow). Pamela was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 24,1963. She grew up in the Columbus/Worthington area and Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pamela is survived by her husband John A.Yaeger, her parents David H. and Virginia (Ginny) Brown, and brothers David S., Robert C., and Jeffrey J. Brown. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Pamela was a graduate of The Ohio State University. She graduated in 1991 with a B.A. degree in Humanities. She was a fiercely loyal Buckeye all of her life. Pamela worked for her alma mater and became a Communications Director for several non-profit organizations in the New York/Long Island area. After marrying John, they lived in Putnam Valley, N.Y., and Levittown, Long Island. When John retired, they moved to Surprise, Arizona. Pamela had many passions. She loved to crochet (hats and other garments for the less fortunate). She had a gift for writing; her quick wit was a surefire way to make people laugh. Her love of music and animals lead to tying them together. She named all of her cats after songs both her and her husband enjoyed: Eleanor “Nellie” (deceased), Rigby, Admiral Halsey, Desmond & Molly Jones, and Penny Lane. Pamela impacted a lot of lives and will truly be missed. May she rest in Peace.
