EDGAR Suzanne Stilson Edgar, 54, of Worthington, passed through the gates of Heaven June 22, 2010 from head injury resulting from an equestrian accident. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry H. Stilson, her grandparents Brigadier General Alden E. and Louise H. Stilson and her beloved cousin Catherine. She is survived by her son, William Alden Edgar; best friend and life companion, William Edgar; loving brother, William E. Stilson; and loving sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Giorgio Pogliano; uncle and aunt, Major General Alden E. and Virginia Stilson, Jr.; and cousins, Rebecca Sullivan and Barbara Huff; as well as nieces and nephews. Suzi gave tirelessly to her family, friends and community. An accomplished business leader, she was Business Development and Administrative Manager for W.E. Stilson Consulting Group, a successful local engineering firm. She was former owner and operator of Epro Tile Company and Surface Style. Suzi served on the Board of Trustees of Columbus State Community College since 1999 and Chaired the Board for two terms. She is the current President of the American Public Works Association for the Ohio Chapter and is a current board member of Advancing Women in Transportation (WTS). She was selected as and honored to be a YWCA Woman of Achievement. She is a past Board member of Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) and the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC). Suzi was passionate about the Lord, her family, her rescued dogs and horses, and her new Marysville farm. Countless friends and strangers have been touched by her grace, character, and kind heart. She was a graduate of Otterbein College and an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, 700 High St.
